It seeks to develop local talent, transfer knowledge, promote a greater understanding of, and interest in, the telecommunications sector and encourage regional building and participation” according to Mr. Liu.
Her excellency, Erlinda F. Basilio, Philippine Ambassador to China was the special guest of honor and she delivered a very inspiring opening speech during the event.
According to Ambassador Erlinda Basilio, the Philippine Embassy is glad with the quest that Huawei has taken—“to train the bright minds in the Philippines and is glad to be a witness to the launching of the Huawei Seeds for the Future Program”. She is very happy that Huawei has chosen the Philippines as a recipient of the program.
The ambassador encouraged the students to make the most of the two week training program to learn more about the world class standards of Huawei.
